Blackjack is one of the most fun casino games. This game is often referred to as Twenty-one because the objective of the game is to get a set of cards that add up to twenty-one. What makes this game a bit complicated is “busting”. If the player receives a set of cards that add up to more than twenty-one, he busts and automatically loses the game.
The game begins by receiving a pair of cards. The values of the cards in this game have the following designations: Cards 2-9 have values of face value, while the 10s, Jacks, Queens and Kings have a value of 10 and Ace has a value of either 1 or 11. The values of the cards are added and if the player thinks he can improve his hand if he gets another card, he hits and receives a card as he wished. On the other hand, if he thinks he already got good cards, he stands and waits for everyone to stand as well to compare their cards.
When the dealer busts but the player gets busted too, the dealer still wins. But if the dealer busts but the player doesn’t, the player wins the bets. If both hands have cards less than or equal to 21, the person with the higher cards wins the game. Lastly, whoever gets a twenty-one at the first pair automatically wins.
